The Draconic Transit: Taurus and Scorpio, On The Angle Itself

A draconic chart is built by subtracting the North Node's longitude from every placement in the birth chart. Harry's North Node sits at 29°38' Taurus, so everything in his chart shifts back by that much, and the Venus-Saturn opposition that reads Aries-Libra on the surface reads Taurus-Scorpio underneath.

That changes the register of the question. Cardinal signs want a decision this week. Taurus and Scorpio want to know what will still be standing in ten years. Blaquier's phrase for the difference is short: less impulse, more depth. Behind the urge to resolve something quickly there is a slower drive that needs stability, loyalty and long-term commitment.

The Descendant is the angle of the other person, so on that end the third house terrain arrives through partners, opponents and the people he is bound to. Media and siblings sit in the same house. His public life has run on both.

One more detail belongs here. Harry's natal Saturn sits at 12°50' Scorpio, roughly one degree off his draconic Ascendant. Saturn conjunct the draconic Ascendant gives the soul motive a structure to work through: seriousness, endurance, the willingness to hold a long process without dropping it. When Venus opposed Saturn in August 2026, the transit was working on that conjunction as much as on the angle.

Why Read A Transit Twice

This is the argument the whole draconic method rests on. The birth chart names the arena. Newspapers, courts, a family house in England. The draconic chart names the stake, which for Harry sits on the Taurus-Scorpio axis, where the question is what can be trusted and what will hold.

Read only the tropical chart and August 21 looks like a news story about a man and a legal case. Read the draconic chart underneath it and the same week becomes a question about loyalty, about what he wants to build, and about the marriage that sits on the other end of his angle. Same two planets. Two different things being asked.
